Ex-Broadcom exec. pleas guilty in stock option probe
SAN FRANCISCO (Dollar Drops) — Former Broadcom Corp. executive Nancy Tullos agreed to plea guilty to obstruction of justice in a federal probe of the company’s stock option grants, the office of the U.S. Attorney for the Central District of California said Friday. Tullos, 56, who at the time served as vice president of human resources, was charged with telling a subordinate to delete an email containing evidence of stock-option backdating. The charge carries a statutory maximum penalty of 10 years in federal prison, the U.S. Attorney’s office said.
