United Parcel Service Boosts Quarterly Div To 45c From 42c

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) - United Parcel Service Inc. increased its regular quarterly dividend to 45 cents a share from 42 cents a share on all outstanding Class A and Class B shares. The Atlanta package-delivery company’s dividend is payable March 4 to shareholders of record Feb. 11. The company board also approved an earlier payment schedule for the dividend typically declared in November. Beginning this year, the dividend will be paid in December instead of the following January.
