Credit Suisse higher as Qatar says it’s building a stake

LONDON (MarketWatch) — Credit Suisse rose 2.6% as Qatar’s prime minister, Sheikh Hamad bin Jasim bin Jaber al-Thani, told Bloomberg News that it has accumulated stock in the Swiss bank. He added the Qatar Investment Authority has up to $15 billion to spend on European and U.S. banking stocks.
