Kia Motors U.S. sales slide to 21,988 units in February
SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) - Kia Motors America sold 21,988 vehicles in February in the U.S., down from 23,512 units a year earlier, the Korean automaker said Monday. The decline was led by Amanti, Kia’s luxury model, which sold only 184 vehicles last month compared with 1,226 units in February 2007. Kia is an affiliate of Hyundai Motor America and the sales and marketing arm of Kia Motors Corp. based in Seoul, Korea.
