U.S. stock futures jump on better-than-forecast jobs number

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) — U.S. stock futures turned decisively higher after a better-than-expected April jobs report. Up 22 points ahead of the data, futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average [$indu] were up 103 points in its wake, at 13,104. Those for the S&P 500 rose 11.3 points to 1,422.90, while Nasdaq 100 futures gained 15 points to 1,998.25.
