Gold futures fall, as dollar gains vs. rivals

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) — Gold futures fell early Tuesday, as the U.S. dollar rose against other major currencies, pressuring investment demand for the precious metal. Gold for June delivery fell $4.70 to $880.20 an ounce on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
