Oracle to acquire AdminServer

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) — Oracle Corp. said Tuesday that it will buy AdminServer, a provider of insurance policy administration software, but it did not disclose terms of the deal. AdminServer’s staff will form a unit of Oracle, a Redwood Shores, Calif., software developer. The acquisition is expected to close in the first half of 2008. Shares of Oracle closed Monday at $21.51.
