Crude futures end higher to recover from an over 1-week low

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) — July crude closed at $131.03 a barrel Wednesday in New York, up $2.18, or 1.7%, for the session. Traders awaited data on U.S. petroleum supplies, which were delayed to Thursday because of the holiday-shortened week. June natural gas climbed 11.6 cents to close at $11.916 per million British thermal units. The contract expired at the end of the day’s trading session.
