CIT names Alexander Mason president and COO

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) — Commercial finance giant CIT Group Inc. on Monday named Alexander Mason President and Chief Operating Officer, effective immediately. “Alex will be an important addition to our management team as we continue to seek process improvements and operational efficiencies to create a more focused and profitable organization,” CIT CEO Jeffrey Peek said in a prepared statement Monday.
