U.S. stock futures drop along with Empire State index

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) — U.S. stock futures on Monday added to early losses after a measure of manufacturing activity in the New York region fell sharply. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 37 points to 12,265. Those for the S&P 500 dropped 4.2 points to 1,355.5, while futures for the Nasdaq 100 declined 8 points to 1,966.5.
