Retail gasoline prices hold steady at $4.08 a gallon
NEW YORK (MarketWatch) — Retail gasoline prices in the U.S. held steady at the average price of $4.08 a gallon on Tuesday, according to the Daily Fuel Gauge Report from AAA. A survey of gas stations around the country came up with a price of $4.078 a gallan, down fractionally from $4.08 a gallon on Monday. A year ago, gasoline sold for $3.01 a gallon.
