Go-Ahead expects to beat previous forecasts
LONDON (MarketWatch) — U.K. train and bus operator Go=Ahead Group said Thursday that it anticipates its performance for the year ending June 28 to be ahead of previous expectations. The group said its bus division should report a significant increase in operating profit thanks to acquisitions and higher passenger numbers. It’s also now fully hedged its fuel costs for the upcoming fiscal year. Operating profit in the train division is also expected to grow, helped by underlying revenue growth and favorable cost settlements.
