Lukoil paying $2.1 billion for 49% stake in ERG refining JV

LONDON (MarketWatch) — Russia’s Lukoil said it’s paying 1.35 billion euros ($2.1 billion) for a 49% stake in a refining joint venture with Italy’s ERG. This joint venture will operate the ISAB refinery complex in Priolo, Sicily. The refinery includes two sites which are united by a pipeline system and integrated in a single refining unit with total annual refining capacity of 16 million tons.
