Quigley on Alcatel-Lucent’s CEO shortlist: WSJ

LONDON (MarketWatch) — Mike Quigley, a long-time Alcatel manager who left Alcatel-Lucent last year, is on a shortlist of serious CEO candidates the telecommunications equipment has compiled, the Wall Street Journal reported on Thursday, citing people familiar with the matter. According to the newspaper the search is continuing and an announcement is weeks away. Australian-born Quigley was chief operating officer of Alcatel before the merger. He left the firm shortly after Patricia Russo, the CEO of Lucent, was chosen to head the new company.
