LSE suspends trading after connectivity problems

LONDON (MarketWatch) — The London Stock Exchange said Monday that it had suspended trading after experiencing connectivity problems with some clients. A spokesman for the exchange said it was still investigating the cause of the problem and wasn’t able to say when trading would resume. When the market does re-open it will start trading through an auction, which should ensure everyone can reconnect at the same time, he added.
