Amgen, Takeda suspend enrollment in a lung-cancer-drug study

TEL AVIV (MarketWatch) — Amgen Inc., the Thousand Oaks, Calif., biotech major, and Takeda Pharmaceutical Co.’s Millennium subsidiary suspended enrollment of patients in a Phase III trial of motesanib combined with paclitaxel and carboplatin as a first-line treatment for advanced non-small-cell lung cancer.
