Tom Daschle accepts Obama offer for Health Sec’y: WSJ
SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) — Tom Daschle has accepted an offer from President-elect Barack Obama to head the Department of Health and Human Services, The Wall Street Journal reported on its Web site Wednesday. Daschle is the former top Democrat in the Senate from South Dakota, who lost his Senate seat in 2004 to Republican John Thune.
