US Dollar still World’s Leading Currency?

The USD (United States Dollar) is one of the most respected, and one of the most used currency in the world. according to a study, 40-60 % of US dollar trade that is done across the border is denominated in the United States currency. In fact, during the 90’s, The United States dollar was record to be the 2/3rd of the entire worlds exchange reserve. But lately, The United States Dollar has experienced a drop in it value.

Even the tiny change in its value, (because of its wide spread use) brings huge effects, not only to America, but also to many other parts of the world. For years, the federal reserve has kept a stead value on the United States Dollar, but just in the past few month, the value of a dollar has seen a steady downfall and is not showing any signs of leveling out. In response to the USD drop, other countries have also seen a drop in there currency compared to the dollar. Because of this, Iran has already warned to change the denomination of trading oil from the United States dollar to the Euro, witch has effected the dollar even more so, as other countries using the USD are beginning to change out there currency to a more stronger currency. But how do we solve this growing problem?

The only way would be to tighten the interest rates in the US, but even that could take years to be fully in affect, and have any change to the value of the United States Dollar.
